The Community


	Our long term commitments to our values and beliefs have made us what we are today. The following section will give you an idea of what we care about and what we’ve done.

Since its inception Maadiran has always held firmly to the core belief that “doing the right thing” is important. It’s a philosophy that can be seen in all of Maadiran’s decisions and subsequent actions.

Within business, Maadiran has gained a reputation for honesty and reliability. Employees view Maadiran as a fair and ethical company, and outside of the company, those who have come to know of Maadiran view it as a company that’s a cut above the rest.

As a company Maadiran is always working to make things better. Some of our recent activities include:


	Nursery School: The company’s employee nursery school provides a caring environment for children to grow in while their parents are working. In keeping with the Maadiran belief of doing the right thing, when IOMInd was established in 1994, the company management felt that the younger children of the company’s factory workers needed a safe and positive environment to flourish while their parents were working. Shortly afterwards the Souror Nursery School was founded on the factory grounds with the intention of making it the best nursery school in Iran. This vision was realised in when the Ministry of Education recognised the school with an award for obtaining the highest standards of care and teaching in the region. The school is a continuing bonding point between the factory staff and the company.


	Maadiran Football Club: As part of the company's ongoing commitment to Iran's next generation and it's values, Maadiran has sponsored a local youth football club. In 1999, a local youth center approached the Maadiran management with the hopes of creating a football team. The idea was welcomed with open arms and Maadiran became the team’s official sponsors. In recent years, the youth team has taken on an increasingly professional nature and have qualified for the third division in the National Football League.

	Other community and social activities: Maadiran has tried to help in many ways other than schools and football clubs. These are just a few of the things we’ve cared about. Student Factory Visits In the hopes of inspiring the next generation of Iranians towards understanding technology and manufacturing, Maadiran continually works to organise student visits from leading schools and universities. The field trips are often integrated with student work and commonly feature educational sessions with Maadiran staff and technicians.
